Temporary Works Supervisor (One Day) Course


This course provides delegates who have responsibility for supervising temporary works with an understanding of their duties and the roles of others who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works with the knowledge and confidence to engage with contractors, to reach an assessed standard of knowledge.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the training course, the delegate will:

  • Have gained an understanding of the importance of cooperation and teamwork on a temporary works site
  • Understand the legal duties of the role
  • Have a stronger awareness of risk management on-site as well as the roles of a supervisor and their fellow employees on site
  • Leave the course with an understanding of the ā€œ4Cā€™sā€; Communication, Cooperation, Coordination and Competency
