Mental health First Aid

This 6 hour online course gives learners the knowledge skills to recognize the signs when someone may be struggling and how they can provide support to them. Whether it's anxiety, stress or even suicidal thinking this course will leave you feeling confident to offer that vital support and help people get on the path to recovery.

  •  Providing advice and starting a conversation
  •  Stress
  •  8 mental health conditions
  •  Drug and alcohol misuse
  •  First aid action plan for mental health
  •  Mental health in the workplace
  •  Looking after you

Despite being a structured course we can tailor it to suit the needs of your specific organisation.

Our trainer is able to bring a huge amount of first hand experience with mental health to the table, making this is so much more than learning from a textbook - The trainer and the learners can bring real world examples and lessons making this a very interactive and powerful course.

Certification

The first aid for mental health course is assessed to ensure the learner feels ready to take on this responsibility and results in a qualification in Level 2 (Level 5 in Scotland) award in First Aid for Mental Health awarded by the FAA (First Aid Awards) and governed by OFQUAL and is valid for 3 years.

A minimum of 4 people is required per course.
