NFB building works hub
Win work with private clients.
NFB members have the opportunity to win work with private nursery schools and landlords by joining the NFB building works hub.
We are working in partnership with dot2dot, an insurance company dealing with 1,200 private nursery clients, and the Residential Landlords Association (RLA). Both of these organisations work with clients that need reputable builders and the NFB building works hub has been developed to identify pre-qualified NFB members who can deliver the work. Read more about the dot2dot partnership here and the RLA partnership here.
Building works hub contracts include:
- Residential contracts
- Building extensions
- New build private nursery schools
- Reactive maintenance contracts
- Repair work
- Renovations to heritage or listed buildings
- Asbestos removal
How it works
Click here to read about the support packages that NFB Business & Skills can provide to help you join our building works hub
Clients send a completed ‘works application’ over to the NFB. This will be an overview of the works needed. NFB area managers will then share the opportunity, using a fair ‘taxi rank’ system, to qualifying members in the region.
You will be asked to contact the client, visit, organise a quote and, hopefully, will win the work.
We will have supplied the client with details of who will be contacting them and will also issue a pack to help them select the right construction company. It is then over to you.
How to get involved
NFB members can complete a pre-qualification questionnaire, based on PAS91, and enrol on the NFB building works hub to receive notification of opportunities that they can deliver.
If you are not yet an NFB member, you'll need to join before you can apply to enrol on the NFB building works hub.
Pre-qualification is now open. NFB members can complete the selection questionnaire here.
