NFB members can also join our specialist interest groups, at no additional cost. Active groups include:

The House Builders Association (HBA)

Representing small and medium sized housebuilders, the HBA is passionate about delivering opportunities for the most productive part of our construction industry; SMEs. Fighting for start-ups and growing businesses the HBA not only lobbies for policy changes but supports members through business and skills training and opportunities to win work. SMEs are integral to building the homes people want in the places people want them; the HBA is the conduit to bring that message to national and local Government. Click here to read more

The NFB Heritage Group

The NFB Heritage Group is a specialist group consisting of NFB members involved in construction of, or with an interest in, the heritage built environment. In the UK, the construction industry employs around 2 million people. The built heritage sector is a subset of the main construction industry, but faces similar challenges around skills shortages and poor external image. In response to these challenges, the group works with members and industry stakeholders to ensure that the skills, expertise and competences are in place to support a robust built heritage sector going forward.
