Virtual Networking – Health and safety in Construction

Held monthly over lunch.

Speaker: Gary Beales (SGS)

Topic: ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is the world’s first International Standards for occupational health and safety (OH&S). It will promote a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows organisations to identify and reduce their OH&S risks, reduce potential for workplace accidents and illnesses and improve legislative compliance. Gary will discuss the standard and answer any questions the Network has on the standard, benefits and accreditation.

THE BENEFITS OF ISO 45001

ISO 45001 enables organisations to put in place an OH&S management system, enabling them to manage their OH&S risks and improve performance by developing and implementing effective policies and objectives.

KEY POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF ISO 45001 INCLUDE:

Peace of mind that your organisation is operating under an internationally approved framework
Enhanced value and assurance to customers in the supply chain
Improved implementation, integration and maintenance of your OH&S systems
Closer involvement from all levels of your organisation

This networking group is intended for those that are responsible for health and safety within their organisation.

The session will see an expert speaker deliver a relevant topic followed by some breakout networking amongst the group.
