The theme for the NFB Annual Conference 2018 is Clicks and mortar: making construction digital.

The conference will look at the importance of digitising the construction industry and the opportunities, as well as the challenges, for small and medium-sized (SME) builders and regional contractors in this process.

  • Digital
    The digital panel will bring together digital experts and construction business leaders to discuss the meaning of digital in construction and how SMEs and regional contractors can benefit from it.
  • Planning
    Reflecting on the conclusions of revised National Planning Policy Framework, the planning panel will analyse the potential for digitalisation in planning, alongside the opportunities and challenges for SME builders and regional contractors.
  • Procurement
    In the year that has seen the financial collapse of Carillion and a renewed discussion around the issues of retentions and fair payment, the procurement keynotes will set out an agenda for better payment solutions across the supply chain.
