One in four people experience mental ill health at some point in their life. Construction was cited as an industry in which male workers are 35 per cent more likely to take their own lives. Increased awareness and focus on this issue has highlighted the need for the industry to take action to try and tackle this issue.
To help construction SMEs address these potential issues, NFB Business & Skills has partnered with the digital college to offer members access to a suite of easily accessible, Highfield accredited, online courses for awareness and support around mental health in the construction workplace. Members of the NFB can access these courses at an exclusive rate saving more than 20% per delegate on the RRP.
