NFB Training Committee

The NFB Training Committee was formed to discuss and make recommendations to the NFB Board concerning the Federation's position on matters concerning relevant sector skills councils in general and ConstructionSkills in particular, and to provide advice and guidance to NFB members who hold positions on the Board and committees of ConstructionSkills and other similar organisations, these, for example, would include the National Heritage Training Group (NHTG), the Cross Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF) and the Construction Skills certificate Scheme (CSCS) stakeholder group.

The Training Committee:

Represents the training needs of NFB members

Make recommendations about suitable methodology and provision

Advises on training priorities and recommend policy positions

Advises on grant making arrangements and receive consultations from ConstructionSkills

Recommends the establishment of any ‘task and finish’ working groups that may be required
