Roger Humber, housing spokesperson for the National Federation of Builders (NFB), commenting on the Government�s Housing Green Paper, said:
�The gap between the Government�s aspiration for more homes and the actual delivery seems as wide as ever. Very little new money and nothing to improve the delivery of land through the planning system has been provided, and without more land, output simply can�t increase.
�The announcement concerning eco-towns is a clear example of the government�s failings. With one hand it announces something positive, but with the other, puts up restrictive criteria that stop them from happening.�
