Recognising an initiative or system that demonstrates clear benefits to the environment, such as reduced carbon footprint, or demonstrable evidence of the successful adoption of sustainable solutions such as energy saving products and methods.
This could include the adoption of a network scheme that has made a difference to the attitudes and behaviour of staff and resulted in a boost to the bottom line to the benefit of the environment, or a new partnership that demonstrates tangible evidence of environmental benefit.

An expert panel of judges came together in April to shortlist entries. The following entries have been shortlisted in the Commitment to Environmental / Sustainability category:
