Entry Rules
• All categories are £25 + VAT to enter. Payment details can be found on the downloadable entry form
• Entries must be received no later than 5pm on Wednesday 11 April 2012 - please note that entry has now closed.
• Text should be limited to 1500 words with a 250 word summary (in total 1750 words). Those exceeding these limits will have marks deducted
• Entries should be formatted as per the details above, those using alternative formatting will have marks deducted
• Projects must have been completed between January 2011 – December 2011
• Companies may enter as many categories as they wish. However each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form with three electronic submissions on USB / CD per entry
• Entrants must ensure there are no copyright issues with any submissions
• Entry assumes agreement for the Federation / media to reproduce any element of the award entry free from any reproduction fees
• The judging panels’ decision is final and no discussion or correspondence relating to any decisions will be entered into
Criteria
• Each entry should be limited to no more than 1500 words
• Entries should also include a 250 word summary separate from the above 1500 words
• All entries must be submitted in a Word document with all margins set at 2.54cm
• Font should be presented in Arial point size 10 with spacing set to 0 where applicable
• Each entry should clearly be marked with the category of entry and company name
• Three mandatory images (where available) should be submitted to support the entry
• Images should be at least 300dpi, one to be the company logo
• Consideration should be given to including the following information in entries where relevant:
Why the project was commissioned
Project outline including objectives, time scales and project value
Outline the strategy undertaken to achieve the project's aims and objectives
Financial evidence to support the project
Details of the implementation process and whether the project was delivered on time and within budget
Pictures of the final completed project
Address any additional points as specific in the category
• Entries should be submitted as one hard copy to the competition address (including entry form, summary, 1500 word award entry and any supporting evidence), accompanied by three electronic copies on three separate USBs / CDs
• Companies entering more than one category should complete separate entry forms per category. Separate evidence and USB / CDs are also required
What the judges are looking for
Objective setting & achievement - entries should demonstrate where applicable a clear, well formed and communicated strategy which aide the achievement of the project objective.
Tactical implementation - entries should demonstrate a methodical approach to implementation, with special emphasis on measurement and control and feedback on projects from clients.
Creativity - creativity however small will be appreciated within any entry.
Effectiveness - winners must be able to demonstrate the value the project has to their clients. Particular emphasis will be placed by judges on whether the project was completed to schedule and to budget. Any problems must be justified and an explanation given as to how they were overcome.
