NFB - Southern

The focus for the Federation's southern region over the last 12 months has been initiatives which will help members to gain more work.  In this economic climate work is hard to come and networking with the right people is imperative.

We have formed strong relationships with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and this three way partnership has enabled us to develop the “GetWork Network” event, which was successfully launched in October 2011.  Following the success of this event, a minimum of three events will be running in 2012 with the same successful format of the launch.  In addition to the supply chain attending the event, we also had a number of clients attend, both public and private, this is something the partnership are keen to develop and grow.  GetWork Network is designed to bring together the components of the supply chain for the client making it easier for the client to pull together his supply chain.  We are also developing relationships with local authorities and is planning to organise a series of liaison meetings for her members.

Please note that NFB Operations Executive Hannah Davey, who covers the southern region, is currently on maternity leave. 

NFB Operations Executive, Southern - Patti Grealis (maternity cover) 

Patti Grealis joined the NFB in March 2012 to cover Hannah Davey’s maternity leave.

Patti joins us from Computershare where she was responsible for relationship management and business continuity planning and growth.  She has a wealth of experience in understanding business needs and has already undertaken a plan to meet to southern members to identify ways of supporting them via their NFB membership.
