NFB - Eastern
As a very active region, Eastern members have just concluded the final round of Local Association meetings for 2011. These meetings are well attended, attract topical speakers and allow members to share best practice.
In addition to active Local Association meetings, there are also three very active Joint Consultative Committees in the Eastern region, covering Suffolk, Norfolk and Buckinghamshire. These Committees provide an opportunity for the Federation's members to meet with other industry stakeholders such as architects and surveyors.
The region also hosts two successful awards schemes yearly in Suffolk and Norfolk which includes architects and apprentice awards.
Regional Principal Contractors' Group meetings are also well attended and the region is hoping to host regional House Builders Association meetings as we move in 2012, as well as launching a new Continuous Improvement Club for members.
NFB Operations Executive, Eastern - Jo Williams
Jo has worked for the NFB for over eight years, previously in administrative roles before progressing to the role of operations executive some six years ago. Based in Cambridgeshire, Jo has two grown up children, both boys.
Jo's passion for her role has contributed to the success of the region and commitment to Federation activity from members. Jo enjoys interacting with members to ensure that they get the most from being a member.
