Principal Contractors' Group
The Principal Contractors’ Group (PCG) is an influential body of larger NFB members with turnovers ranging from £5 million to around £500 million.
There are approximately 126 members with a combined turnover of £3.3bn. They work together to share knowledge, information and best practice in the construction industry. The PCG’s purpose is to work to promote common interests on sector specific contracting issues. It represents those interests in dialogue with government and regulatory bodies and facilitates networking between industry leaders and policy makers.

PCG Annual Conference 2012 'UK Construction: the road to recovery'
The NFB is pleased to announce its Annual Conference for its Principal Contractors’ Group (PCG) supported by CITB-ConstructionSkills and Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
Once again, this conference meets our ambition for the PCG. As well as an opportunity to network and meet valuable contacts, we have laid on a busy and thought-provoking agenda which brings together high profile speakers, leading industry players, decision-makers and experts to look at the critical challenges facing our industry and how, together, we can seek to address these.
The industry is currently facing unprecedented challenges in the face of a severe and prolonged recession. The theme of this year’s conference - UK Construction: The Road to Recovery - will be taking a positive approach to meeting these challenges. From the need to improve procurement practices and regulation, to the continuing drive for excellence in training and in health and safety, our speakers and our audience will have the chance to map out the industry’s route back to growth.
