Following the success of the CSR roadshows across England earlier this year, NFB Business & Skill is bringing a roadshow to Cardiff. The event aims to help SME contractors to understand the importance of developing, delivering, and reporting on their community benefits activities.

Whilst SME regional contractors often lead the field in providing benefits and legacies for their communities through their projects, their ability to report and promote their efforts can be hampered through a lack of resource and expertise; potentially affecting their ability to win work with public sector procurers who require evidence of impact and outcomes from community benefits and CSR activities.

Following the success of the CSR roadshows across England earlier this year, NFB Business & Skills, supported by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), is bringing a roadshow to Cardiff, on Thursday 9 November. The event aims to help SME contractors to understand the importance of developing, delivering, and reporting on their community benefits activities.

The half day event will feature keynote addresses from regionally relevant political, public sector, and construction speakers including Ken Skates AM, Councillor Chris Weaver and  Senior Category Manager, Chris McLellan from Cardiff Council, Guy Leach from Knox & Wells Ltd and Jemma Bridgeman from Construction Youth Trust Wales.

There will also be a chance to learn more about community benefits and have your say with an interactive question and answer panel.
