Increasingly companies are looking to implement BIM within their organisations. To do this, many find it useful to appoint a BIM Champion to drive the change required. A BIM Champion is an appointed individual who is key to driving a BIM strategy throughout their organisation. The BIM Champion programme is a five-day programme which is delivered over a 6 month period to enable implementation of learning in between.
Who should become a BIM Champion?
This programme is aimed at participants who have a basic knowledge of BIM and the government drivers gained either through attending one of the NFB’s BIM workshops or similar and who are in a position to influence the strategic direction of the company in implementing change in response to the challenge of BIM.
What will I learn from the programme?
At the end of the five day programme the BIM Champion will:
- have developed their awareness and understanding of BIM from a strategic perspective to enable them to lead the implementation of BIM within their organisations;
- be able to drive change effectively throughout their organisation by influencing other people
- have gained sufficient knowledge to develop a BIM strategy to implement the process and systems change required
The BIM Champion programme is CPD certified to allow participants to gain recognition for their attendance.
